The incubent of this position defines, recommends, and ensures the evolution of the strategic architecture of information technology (IT) solutions. They guide orientations, technological evolutions, and provide support in their implementation. They ensure that the designed solutions guarantee the quality, performance, and sustainability of information systems, while meeting business objectives. They ensure the segregation of duties and the reuse of system components. They participate as an architect in various projects involving information technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the compliance of IT systems architecture:
  • Participate in the development and validation of IT solutions architecture;
  • Propose orientations and operating principles;
  • Monitor the evolution of solutions during project phases and ensure the implementation of solutions;
  • Responsible for compliance during the implementation of solutions in the target architecture;
  • Define and document the architecture and topology of systems.
Support initiatives to ensure the effectiveness and consistency of implemented solutions:
  • Participate in defining IT solutions related to projects and document the architecture and topology of systems;
  • Control the effectiveness and consistency of implemented solutions;
  • Assist project managers in defining project steps related to implemented solutions and their scope, as well as forecasting their costs.
REQUIREMENTS
  • University degree in information technology or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in solution architecture;
  • Experience in implementing complex market systems;
  • Experience with Microsoft and Azure technologies (an asset);
  • Knowledge in the retail and distribution sector (an asset);
  • Demonstrate teamwork, rigor, and flexibility;
  • Strategic perspective;
  • Ability to simplify complex problems;
  • Bilingualism (English and French) both spoken and written.
