  • Coordinate with civil engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and planners throughout the design and permitting process.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure all designs comply with local zoning, building codes, and ADA standards.
  • Assist in obtaining project approvals and permits from municipal agencies.
  • Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project coordination efforts.
  • Oversee construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and site visits as needed.
  • Contribute to design standardization and process improvement within the company.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in architectural design, with a focus on residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Licensed Architect (RA) preferred or in active pursuit of licensure.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, building systems, and local permitting processes.
  • Excellent design, visualization, and technical documentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in land planning or working closely with land development teams.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED or other green building standards.
  • Familiarity with site planning software or GIS tools.
Work Environment
  • Office-based role with a collaborative design team.
  • Occasional site visits may be required.
