  • Read and interpret blueprints to evaluate or plan plumbing layouts and installations.
  • Install, maintain and repair plumbing and fixtures.
  • Installation and repair of various household appliances.
  • Cut, weld and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings and accessories.
  • Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance. Handle customer inquiries and respond to tender calls.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Make a cost estimate.
  • Installation, repair and maintenance of pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems and fittings in commercial and residential buildings.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians and other construction professionals. Follow the blueprints and construction plans.
  • Respond, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
  • Perform periodic inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Prepare bids, budgets and cost estimates. Keep accurate records of work time, job descriptions and materials used.
Requirements
