A leading financial services firm in Toronto is looking for an Application Architect to design application architecture and lead technical teams. The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. The Application Architect will be part of a multi-discipline team where meaningful collaboration is highly valued. Their responsibilities are for the overall design of applications and supervision of the implementation. Developed applications are visible to both customers and their clients. The ability to design solutions in an DevOps environment and effectively communicate those designs to the development team is critical to the success of this role. The position requires good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to solve complex problems, and applicable technical experience.
