A community health organization is looking for a part-time AOD Counselling and Recovery Clinician in Collingwood. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Counselling or Social Work and at least two years of experience. About The Role

This position operates within the AOD Cluster which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people who are considered homeless or use drugs and/or alcohol.

The AOD Counselling and Recovery Clinician provides access to relevant psycho-social and mental health supports through the delivery of recovery-oriented, evidence based and therapeutic counselling interventions. While primarily based in Collingwood, this role may involve working across other locations in metro Melbourne as needed.

• Complete comprehensive AOD Assessments with clients using the DFFH Comprehensive AOD Assessment Tool
• Provide recovery-oriented, evidence-based and therapeutic brief intervention and counselling services to individuals
• Ensure all reporting, case notes, data management and other administrative duties are completed accurately and confidentially
• Provide service and access support to relevant stakeholders
