A community health organization is looking for a part-time AOD Counselling and Recovery Clinician in Collingwood. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Counselling or Social Work and at least two years of experience. This position operates within the AOD Cluster which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people who are considered homeless or use drugs and/or alcohol.
The AOD Counselling and Recovery Clinician provides access to relevant psycho-social and mental health supports through the delivery of recovery-oriented, evidence based and therapeutic counselling interventions. While primarily based in Collingwood, this role may involve working across other locations in metro Melbourne as needed.

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination.
Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
