A municipal government is seeking an Animal Care Attendant to provide care for animals in the Pound and support municipal enforcement services. Responsibilities include feeding, vaccinations, and maintaining shelter hygiene. The ideal candidate should have a secondary school diploma and experience in animal care, along with excellent customer service skills. This role may require working irregular hours and shifts.
Under the general supervision of the Manager – Licensing & Enforcement and technical direction and guidance of the Leadhand – Animal Care Attendant, performs tasks related to the care, maintenance and well being of all animals in the Pound, and provides administrative support assistance for the Municipal Enforcement Services section.
