A leading investment management firm in Victoria is seeking an Analyst for their Early Talent Program. This 2-year program offers exposure to institutional investing, with responsibilities including investment due diligence and portfolio company engagement. Designed for ambitious new graduates and early-career professionals, this two-year program will give you comprehensive exposure to institutional investing. You will gain a broad understanding of finance through becoming a member of I&RR’s investment team and exposure to different types of investing including private markets, public markets, and debt instruments.
Analysts will develop their technical and soft skills through a customized training and development program as well as on the job experience. This program offers valuable international and cross-functional exposure, including potential travel opportunities for deal execution or portfolio company engagement. You’ll be paired with a dedicated mentor who will provide coaching and guidance to support your development. Additionally, you’ll have networking opportunities with BCI professionals and industry peers.
As an Analyst, you’ll be an integral part of our investment team contributing to (1) due diligence of prospective investments, (2) proactive engagement with portfolio companies owned by I&RR, and (3) executing on strategic initiatives across the portfolio.
The annualized base salary range for this Victoria-based role is CAD $94,000 to $115,000.
BCI offers a competitive total rewards package, including a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, and paid time off. We pay our people competitively in the markets in which we operate and with consideration for internal equity and job structure. The base salary will consider factors such as the individual's skill set, experience, and internal equity. We aim for actual pay to be around the market median for expected performance and the upper quartile for excellent performance. Actual salaries may vary based on experience and expertise.
