Job summary

A leading international defence company in Winnipeg is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability of critical aircraft systems. You'll work on CL215/CL415 Water Bombers, maintaining and repairing various mechanical and structural components. The ideal candidate holds a valid AME license and has experience with relevant aircraft, along with strong organizational skills. This role offers a competitive salary of $68,806 - $100,889 and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid M1 and/or M2 AME license.
  • Experience with CL-215/CL-415 aircraft is an asset.
  • Have good organizational skills.
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken.
  • Have the physical ability to sit or crouch for extended periods.
  • Ability and willingness to work shift work.

Responsibilities

  • Work on CL215/CL415 Water Bomber Aircraft and Commander 690’s.
  • Maintain, adjust, modify, test, diagnose, and repair aircraft systems.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Mentor AME apprentices.
  • Work efficiently alone and as part of a team.

Skills

Valid M1 and/or M2 AME license
Experience with CL-215/CL-415 aircraft
Good organizational skills
Proficient in English, written and spoken
Physical ability to sit or crouch for extended periods
Ability to work at heights
