Job summary

A multinational logistics company in Nova Scotia is seeking an Aerospace operations coordinator to manage daily logistics operations for Aerospace shipments. Responsibilities include preparing documentation, monitoring shipments, and providing customer service. The ideal candidate has a diploma in logistics and 3–5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Aerospace Logistics operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Aerospace Logistics operations.
  • Good understanding of Aerospace Logistics operational processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations related to Aerospace shipments.

Due to business expansion plan in Singapore, we are currently looking for a candidate to perform the below duties:

Job Purpose

To coordinate and execute daily Aerospace operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, seamless customer service, and efficient delivery of logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations related to Aerospace shipments with customers, internal teams, agents, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and equipment readiness.
  • Prepare export/import documentation, invoices, credit notes, and delivery notes through in-house operating systems.
  • Declaration of permits through TradeNet, or coordinate with permit declarants for customs clearance.
  • Monitor and manage shipments from activation until completion.
  • Verify vendors’ invoices and agents’ debit notes tied to Aerospace Logistics, coordinating payments to carriers, co-loaders, and agents/vendors.
  • Provide proactive shipment status updates and exceptional internal/external customer service for Aerospace Logistics customers.
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Aerospace Logistics operations.
  • Good understanding of Aerospace Logistics operational processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication, coordination, process optimization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and operational systems.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
