Overview

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading Leader on Duty shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed, train and motivate associates, and drive strong sales results while upholding our company values and bringing your REAL self to work every day.

Responsibilities
  • You have a passion for driving sales: As a key LOD (Leader on Duty), you drive sales by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class in-store guest experience. You support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities to drive KPI results.
  • People leadership: Motivate and inspire the team through AEO\'s core values. Be a role-model leader and hold associates accountable to AEO\'s service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  • Talent and training: Recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is staffed to meet business needs. Train and develop associates to provide outstanding service and represent a Guest First culture.
  • Teamwork and performance: Challenge Sales and Stock Associates with clear, attainable goals and provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching. Celebrate outstanding performance to drive engagement.
  • Visual & operational innovation: Execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures including shipment processing, merchandising moves and visual standards. Ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
  • Integrity and safety: Maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow AEO policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.
