Join Our Team as an Adult Day Service Worker | Bus Driver at Coquihalla Gillis House in Merritt!

We are excited to welcome passionate and energetic Adult Day Service Worker to our dedicated team at Coquihalla Gillis House, located in the heart of Merritt, BC! Nestled in the stunning Nicola Valley, Merritt offers a unique blend of small-town charm and outdoor adventure. Your Role:

As an Adult Day Service Worker | Bus Driver, you will support clients in a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment. Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, you’ll assist with daily living activities such as grooming, toileting, and feeding, and help lead recreational and social programs tailored to client needs.

You’ll provide safe transportation for clients to and from scheduled outings. You will observe and report any changes in client condition. Your role supports wellness, independence, and connection for every client you serve.

This casual position offers flexibility, with potential day shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00, depending on the needs of the facility. Qualifications

  1. Grade 12
  2. Completion of an Activity Assistant Program, and one-year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  3. Food Safe certificate.
  4. Current valid BC Class 4 Driver’s License.
