Job Summary:

The Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the daily, weekly and monthly operations at A Few Good Lads. This role ensures smooth internal operations through accurate document management, scheduling, compliance oversight, onboarding support and office administration. The Administrator acts as a key liaison between departments, contributing to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to emails and calls, directing inquiries appropriately
  • Managing all aspects of invoicing including creating, sending and coordinating with accounts to ensure timely payments
  • Ensuring WorkSafeBC compliance and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Leading administrative audits and helping implement new systems or tools as needed
  • Managing shared documents, calendars and contact lists via Google Workspace
  • Supporting job postings, ensuring compliance with BC employment standards
  • Assisting with client and employee onboarding processes
  • Booking travel and coordinating schedules for the CEO and staff
  • Purchasing and maintaining office supplies and inventory
  • Conducting monthly compliance checks and license renewals
  • Supporting event preparation and administrative aspects of internal or client-facing events
  • Ensuring a clean, organized and efficient office environment

Requirements:

  • 2 years in an administrative or office support role (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with payroll and invoicing processes

Preferred:

  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with WorkSafeBC documentation and reporting
  • Knowledge of licensing renewal schedules and document retention best practices

Work Conditions:

This role is in the office located in [location]. It is a full-time position with standard hours Monday to Friday (40 hours/week), 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (ADT). Occasional flexibility may be required for company events.
