OFFICE ASSOCIATE - Temporary Administrative Assistant

Position type: Casual / Multiple Businesses / Multiple Locations

Responsibilities
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests
  • Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
  • Maintain contact list
  • Handling and assisting with document distribution and other administrative projects
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc
  • Arrange meetings, attend and take meeting minutes as required
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders and expense reports
  • Assist in the development and implementation of administrative systems, procedures and policies
  • Perform clerical work as required
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or payroll
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of payroll from scheduling to verification
  • Prepare and disburse invoices to customers
  • Analyze transaction details to identify refunds, negative delinquent and insufficient payments
  • Reconcile transactions with statements
  • Maintain accurate financial record of all receivable transactions, verifications, etc
  • Support accounting operations
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities; including Reception, Administration, and other duties as required
