A community service organization in Kitchener is seeking a dedicated Addiction Treatment Worker for a full-time position in their Live-In Treatment program. This role involves facilitating group activities and providing support to individuals in recovery. The successful candidate will have a college diploma or university degree in social services and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. We are hiring for an individual who is committed to a strength‑based, person‑focused care to join our team as an Addiction Treatment Worker in our Live‑In Treatment program. The Addiction Treatment Worker will support program participants by working collaboratively with the staff team to facilitate program related activities including the facilitation of groups.
** This is a contract position, from approximately January 26, 2026 to June 26, 2026. This is a full‑time position, offering 37.5 hours per week. Schedule Friday to Tuesday, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. G class driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle may be required. Successful completion of a Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector) required pre‑employment.**

At House of Friendship all compensation ranges are categorized under a series of “grades” and we base our payment structure on internal equity. When determining rate of pay, a candidate’s past related experience will be taken into consideration.
Grade: 4
Min: $22.40
Mid: $25.65
Max: $28.90
