Position Title: Bilingual Mortgage Account Manager

What you will be doing

The Bilingual Mortgage Account Manager’s (MAM) primary role is to guide clients through the mortgage fulfillment process. They are responsible for making the process seamless and easy for clients to understand.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both potential and existing mortgage clients.
  • Ensure all client documentation is processed and assessed in a prudent and timely fashion.
  • Proactively educate and guide clients through requirements and processes.
  • Report directly to the Manager of Mortgage Account Managers.
  • Actively manage an assigned portfolio of mortgage clients.
  • Guide clients along the fulfillment process by promptly communicating required documents and updates.
  • Achieve monthly mortgage sales targets and cross‑sell other Tangerine products and services.
  • Act as a resource for mortgage policies and procedures to manage the bank’s risk.
  • Demonstrate effective call control and use of soft skills.
  • Adhere to Quality Service standards and maintain pre‑determined service levels.
  • Commit to ongoing mortgage training and development.
  • Contribute positively in team meetings.
  • Review additional information within agreed service levels.
  • Liaise with the Underwriting department to ensure all documents are received, validated and complete.
  • Meet Customer Service levels for emails, phone messages and fax enquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • University or College Degree in a business discipline.
  • Sales experience (required).
  • Underwriting and fulfillment experience (preferred).
  • Basic administrative knowledge and skills in documentation required to meet lending guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Tangerine Bank products, services, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of mortgage products, both Tangerine specific and market‑wide.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $35.90 to $86.54 per hour.
  • Terms: Permanent employment, full time.
  • Start date: As soon as possible.
