Overview
Account Executive – Marine & Offshore. We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to lead and grow our Marine & Offshore vertical, serving clients across commercial diving, offshore services, maritime inspection, and port infrastructure. You will inherit a strong existing pipeline and territory, with high potential for growth. The ideal candidate has B2B sales experience in industrial equipment or marine technology and excels in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Experience within offshore or maritime sectors is a significant asset.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities using tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and industry research.
- Leverage your industry knowledge and network to uncover and nurture leads.
- Own the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to closing and seamless handoff to customer success.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop customized proposals, technical bids, and quotations.
- Tailor solutions based on client needs and technical requirements.
- Deliver compelling discovery calls and live product demos, clearly articulating the value of our solutions in marine environments.
- Willingness to travel ~50% for client meetings, trade shows, and demonstrations.
- Maintain accurate records and opportunity pipelines in HubSpot CRM.
- Provide regular forecasts and contribute to strategic planning and reporting.
- Partner with product, marketing, and operations teams to align customer goals with internal capabilities.
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to onboarding and support.
- Serve as the voice of the customer—sharing insights, trends, and feature requests with internal teams.
- Influence the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience in an industrial, technical, or marine-related environment
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and close complex deals
- Strong communication and consultative selling skills
- Technical aptitude to understand and explain complex systems or machinery
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently
- Comfortable operating across time zones (North America / Europe)
- Experience selling to clients in marine, defense, offshore energy, or port infrastructure
- Familiarity with ROVs, inspection tools, or marine robotics
- Experience engaging with technical end users such as engineers, inspectors, or operators
- Bi-lingual in English and another relevant language (e.g., Spanish)
