Job description

Giatec Scientific Inc. (an international market leader in concrete technology) is looking for an ambitious Account Executive to sell and represent our flagship products throughout North America. As an Account Executive, you will be managing the sales process from start to finish to ensure our customers have the best experience. We are looking for a curious and motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow their career with us as we expand our market share and product offerings. This position offers growth opportunities and is ideal for a candidate looking for a long‑term career in technology sales. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter that thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

The base salary range for this role is expected to be between $50,000–$85,000 and the on‑target earnings for this role is expected to be between $100,000–120,000 annually. Actual earnings will depend on individual performance and commission outcomes, and commissions are uncapped.

This role represents an existing vacancy within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Fulfill a wide range of inbound and outbound requests from prospective clients; qualify the type of opportunity and follow a proven process to win the deal.
  • Drive and close business opportunities by selling our products to Engineering and CMT firms throughout North America.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline through prospecting, up‑selling and cross‑selling activities within a specified territory or account.
  • Analyze and evaluate data, develop an individual sales plan, and accurately forecast results.
  • Prepare standard quotations and proposal information as required.
  • Ensure effective coordination and support between internal teams and supporting technical resources.
  • Build and grow your book of business.
  • Perform daily activities to support sales nurture program.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Two plus years of sales experience. Experience in IoT, construction, technology or SaaS is an asset.
  • University or college degree in a relevant field, including but not limited to Business, Commerce, or Communication.
  • Experience in closing sales and moving customers through a defined sales cycle.
  • Ability to quickly establish and build relationships founded on trust.
  • Experience with our tech stack (or similar): Salesforce, Apollo.io, Gong, Co‑Pilot.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English. Other languages are an asset.
  • Strong ability to multitask and handle various projects.
  • Goal driven, independent and self‑starter. Excited by working in a scale‑up environment where results are expected, appreciated, and well rewarded.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and USA when necessary.
  • Strong business acumen ideally with comprehensive industry knowledge in Construction and Concrete.
