Qualifications

Role Responsibilities:

  • Sell commercial insurance policies
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and prospect list
  • Network at events and B2B functions to generate leads
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, including site visits
  • Stay informed about market trends, products, pricing, and opportunities
  • Prepare proposals and coordinate with insurance carriers for account placement
  • Gather and document information to ensure appropriate coverage and service
  • Maintain quality standards by adhering to underwriting rules and business practices
  • Arrange payment terms and ensure timely collection
  • Support customers through the claims process
  • Travel as required

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school diploma or higher education
  • RIBO License is required
  • Optional: CRM, CIP, FCIP, CAIB, or CCIB certifications
  • Experience with Epic is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance sales experience
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
