Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to the Dufferin Concrete & Ontario Redimix fleet of vehicles.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, diagnosis, & repair ready‑mix trucks through preventative & scheduled maintenance.
  • Perform removal, rework and installation of various engine and chassis components.
  • Use leading diagnostic technology to identify breakdowns.
  • Order required parts and maintain parts inventory.
  • Document repairs on work orders and complete inspection sheets as required.
  • Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment.
  • Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment.
  • Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
  • All other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician Certificate of Qualification
  • Valid class ‘G’ Driver’s License.
  • Sound working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps/motors, and air brake systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a safety‑first approach.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel to local sites as required.
