2nd Class Chief Operating Engineer

Columbia Forest Products isthe leading North American manufacturer of hardwood plywood and veneer. Our veneer mill, just outside ofRutherglen,is located 35 km east of North Bay, Ontario.

We are accepting resumes for a 2nd Class Chief Operating Engineer. Responsibilities will include supervision of our four person team of 3rd Class Engineers, and overseeing operation of the wood-fired boiler. This position will also include working with the management team to provide mill operational support.

A 2nd Class TSSA certification is preferred. 3rd Class Engineers, working toward their 2nd Class are welcome to apply. Supervisory experience and/or experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset. This is a salaried position, with healthcare benefits, an ESOP rsp plan, and a Gainshare bonus plan.
