Job summary

A leading medical association in Ottawa is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented student for a full-time temporary role within Corporate Services, focusing on People & Culture strategies. You Have:
  • Strong technical skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; SharePoint is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A proactive, flexible attitude and ability to work independently
  • General knowledge of HR practices
  • Experience supporting small to medium-sized projects
  • Ideally, some exposure to hybrid work environments
  • Working toward a Human Resources designation is an asset

  • Support policy and compliance initiatives, including policy tracking and updates in line with legislative requirements.
  • Develop employee communications.
  • Support the summer student engagement program.
  • Monitor and respond to employee questions shared in a common inbox.
  • Conduct research to support various P&C projects.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as electronic filing.

The Enterprise works in partnership with stakeholders and counterparts nationally across Canada. Due to the nature of the work performed for this position, the incumbent is required to communicate with colleagues in Quebec, Ontario and/or other provinces in English. Proficiency in French is an asset, but not a requirement of this role.
