About the role

The summer analysts will be placed in our Client Service Team for the duration of the 14 week internship (May-August). The Client Service Team is the revenue epicenter of our business. As a summer analyst in the Client Service Team, you will need to think quickly and critically, conduct high-level research into industries and companies, identify, and speak with the best experts ensuring they have the most relevant experience and knowledge to address our clients’ needs. This is the perfect opportunity to showcase and enhance your abilities in a role that offers clear objectives and chances for recognition and rewards based on your contributions and achievements.

One day you could be connecting a private equity firm with experts you have sourced to better understand the sub-Saharan African telecommunications market, while the next day assisting a strategy consultancy looking into the growth outlook for solar energy in the Middle East.

Working on multiple client projects at once, you will have the opportunity to accelerate your career and develop core transferable skills in sales, time and project management, negotiation, and professional communication, all while expanding your commercial awareness.

Our future Dialectica summer analyst has:

  • Enrolled in any undergraduate program (Bachelor degree or higher)
  • Proven leadership skills and participation in extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrated interest in business and a goal-oriented mindset
  • A growth mindset, embracing challenges as opportunities for learning and development
  • Excellent networking and sourcing abilities, leveraging professional networks like LinkedIn and internal databases to engage and convince suitable experts
  • Strong ability to achieve quotas, meet specific targets, and deliver projects within set timelines
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written)in order to communicate with clients, partners and colleagues, who are predominantly located outside Quebec;
  • Knowledge of other languages such as German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and/or Mandarin is an asset in order to communicate with clients, partners and colleagues, who are predominantly located outside Quebec
  • Be part of an Internship Program with organized intern events (social and professional development) throughout the summer
  • Learning and development programs (onboarding bootcamp and continuous learning programs.)

The company recruits experts from all over the world in all industries for its clients primarily located outside Quebec, with the support of the company’s other offices located outside Quebec with which interaction is constant. Accordingly, knowledge of English is required for this position.

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and suppliers in Quebec as necessary. French-language training will be offered to all incumbents in permanent full-time positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.
