Get ready to:

• Be part of a cross-functional team including Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA
• Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment and share input at all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate to develop robust features, APIs, and continuously improve products while addressing bugs
• Ensure a white-glove experience for customers using our products
• Fully own feature development across client, server, service, and database layers

Bits and bytes you’ll bring to the team:

• Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express. Experience with NestJS, Vite, and Next.js is a plus
• Design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic using Express
• Create client-side function-based React components, hooks, stories, and tests
• Create and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and interactions
• Build reusable modular components for front and back end to promote maintainability and scalability
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality
• Stay updated with emerging web development trends and practices; suggest process improvements
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain quality standards
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to team members and stakeholders

Extra brownie points if you have:

• Experience with SaaS products running 24/7 on a major cloud vendor
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous programming
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Storybook, RTL) and automated testing (Cypress)
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
