Progress Rail is seeking a motivated and skilled Cloud Engineer to join its dynamic team. This full-time remote position reports directly to the Cloud Manager and plays a key role in designing and maintaining scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure that supports our cutting‑edge rail technology solutions. The role requires independent judgment, strong problem‑solving abilities, resourcefulness, and the capacity to navigate ambiguity with creativity and initiative. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a solid background in cloud technologies, capable of balancing speed, quality, and cost‑effectiveness to meet both customer and business needs.
Job Purpose: In this role, the candidate is responsible developing & maintaining ETL / ELD ingestion, API, Web and cloud systems, that deliver real time Railroad data to customers.
