What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to address complex challenges in database platform development
- Develop and execute the technical software development strategy for the Postgres DBaaS platform, focusing on self-service capabilities and operational efficiency
- Build and refine self-service features that enable application teams to manage their databases independently
- Deploy and manage Postgres workloads using Kubernetes across cloud infrastructure
- Ensure the quality, usability, and performance of the Postgres DBaaS solutions delivered

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Advanced knowledge of at least one modern OOP language such as C#, Go, or Python
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, platform architecture, and automation
- 3+ years of experience in designing scalable and resilient systems
- Good understanding of Postgres internals, including performance optimization and high availability configurations
- Proven experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- 2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks related to infrastructure or database management
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Strong Test-Driven Development practices
- Understanding of security best practices related to data privacy and encryption
