As a Workday Integrations Developer, you will design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and Payroll systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy. This role involves working closely with clients to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimise integration solutions to meet business needs. Your expertise will help clients maximise the efficiency of their Payroll operations through robust Workday integrations.

  • Utilise tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and APIs to build and maintain integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure data accuracy and seamless functionality.
  • Conduct testing and validation of integrations, including error handling and edge cases.
  • Document integration processes, field mappings, and system workflows for future reference.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including HR, IT, and external vendors, to support Payroll operations.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and organisational policies in all integration work.
  • Optimise and enhance existing integrations to improve performance and scalability.

To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross‑functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.

Skills and Experience Required
  • 3 - 5 years’ Workday Integration and implementation experience including payroll integrations (either Workday Payroll and/or 3rd party payroll systems);
  • 5+ years of experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware).
  • Attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture, pragmatic problem solver.
  • Excellent planning, interpersonal and time management skills with a track record of following through on dedications.
  • Excellent technical communication skills are essential.
  • Fluent in English (writing, reading, and speaking).
  • Fluent in Portuguese (writing, reading, and speaking).
  • Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally.
Other Qualifications/Skills that will be beneficial but not mandatory
  • College or University Degree in HR or Information Systems.
  • Experience with any of the following: Java, JavaScript, .NET, XSLT, NetBeans IDE development background.
  • Experience in other critical corporate platform implementations such as Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Sailpoint, SAP, Siebel, MuleSoft, Dellboomi, or applications built on AWS services.

As this is a remote role, you can be based anywhere in the Latin America region so long as you are authorised to work without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
