React Web Developer with strong Strapi expertise | Brazil - remote | Contractor

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled React Web Developer with strong Strapi expertise to lead the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of our website and Headless CMS ecosystem. You will be responsible for rebuilding and enhancing the digital front‑end experience using React and Strapi v5 , ensuring top‑tier performance, stability, and scalability.

This role requires a proactive professional capable of taking ownership from day one—someone who can solve complex problems, implement robust solutions, and drive ongoing improvements across the platform. This is not an entry‑level position.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop fast, scalable, and reliable front‑end solutions using React and Strapi.
  • Rebuild, refine, and optimize existing website sections to maximize performance and conversion.
  • Maintain Core Web Vitals in the green, using real‑user monitoring and observability tools.
  • Design, implement, and manage content structures, schemas, and data models in Strapi v5.
  • Integrate CMS features with analytics and marketing tools such as Vercel, Microsoft Clarity, HubSpot APIs, and Google Analytics.
  • Automate deployment workflows and repetitive development tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with design, content, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, strong server response performance, and a high‑quality user experience across all devices.
  • Evaluate and responsibly incorporate AI‑assisted development tools that enhance productivity without compromising code quality.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience building front‑end applications with React.
  • Advanced experience working with Headless CMS platforms, particularly Strapi (v4+; v5 preferred).
  • Proficiency with Vercel, GitHub, continuous deployment, and server‑side integrations.
  • Solid understanding of API configuration and consumption within Headless CMS environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and deploy fixes in real‑time production environments.
  • Demonstrated experience improving conversion rates and running A/B testing experiments.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics tools and CMS integrations.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience integrating and customizing HubSpot APIs.
  • Familiarity with SEO, CRO, and performance‑driven digital strategies.
  • Previous experience working in high‑growth or startup environments.
  • Exposure to AI‑driven development workflows, frameworks, or tools.
