What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
- Plan and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful delivery of sprints and releases
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the team delivers scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience
- Proven experience delivering deployment automation systems spanning multiple technical areas
- Hands‑on experience with tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubespray
- Strong understanding of DevOps processes and procedures and Agile Development methodologies
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience working in the AWS GovCloud environment
- Proficiency in JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React
- Experience serving as a technical security DevOps engineer on large‑scale projects
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working in fast‑paced environments, meeting deadlines, and applying lean development principles
