Responsibilities

• Tax Calculation & Compliance: Expertise in the calculation and review of all major federal taxes: IRPJ / CSLL (Annual / Quarterly Actual Profit Lucro Real and Presumed Profit Lucro Presumido), and PIS / COFINS (Cumulative and Non-Cumulative regimes).
• Auxiliary Obligations: Extensive experience in the preparation, review, and timely submission of federal and state tax obligations, including: DCTF, ECF, EFD Contributions, EFD Reinf, ECD, Per / Dcomp, GIA, SPED Fiscal, E-financeira, Dimp.
• Tax Credits & Recovery: Proven track record in identifying and processing tax credits, including claims for undue or overpayment, IRPJ / CSLL negative balances, and PIS / COFINS credits (Restitution and Reimbursement requests).
• Audit & Litigation Support: Experience managing the Tax Audit calendar and serving as the primary point of contact for external audits.
• Knowledge of Transfer Pricing: Knowledge of Transfer Pricing (specifically for Services) and the ability to act as a Tax Business Partner to internal controls (risk management) and international finance teams (supporting international expansion, and local registration).
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude, focused on sharing knowledge, working effectively in a team environment, and ensuring effective internal customer service.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in the fiscal and tax field, with expertise gained across diverse sectors including: Technology / Services and Finance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Law and specialization / Post-Graduate certification in Taxation.
• Advanced proficiency and practical expertise in leading ERP systems.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in Portuguese & English (both verbal and written).
• Able to commute to the office in Sao Paulo a few times a week.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Well-rounded understanding and mindset in corporate governance pertaining to Brazilian central Bank.
• Process Automation & Design: Experience in the automation of tax and P2P processes (invoice receipt, payment, tax calculation, and ancillary obligations) and in the mapping / design of corporate tax processes and policies.
• Project Management & Coordination: Demonstrated ability to manage complex tax projects, coordinate team activities, and monitor performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
