Overview

AWS Brazil is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth, breadth and strong interpersonal skills. The Solutions Architect will partner with customers, AWS Sales and other AWS teams to design highly scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that solve customer business problems and accelerate AWS adoption.

Candidate Qualities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to formulate and execute a technical strategy that drives revenue growth through AWS adoption.
• Help customers succeed in building and migrating applications, software, and services to the AWS Cloud.
• Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions.
• Conduct one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions to transfer knowledge about AWS.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer‑facing publications such as whitepaper.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals to enable them to become cloud advocates.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a specific technology domain (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructure.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
