About the Role

We are seeking an Art Director to join our Branding team and play a pivotal role in crafting creative ads and evolving the visual presence of our brand in Brazil. This position is crucial to ensuring that our campaigns are visually striking and culturally resonant, helping us establish a strong foothold in the Brazilian market. Key Responsibilities
  • Creative Direction & Illustration: Develop high-impact visual concepts for campaigns; create and refine illustrations (digital/hand‑drawn) that align with Brazilian cultural nuances and brand guidelines. Adapt global brand assets for the Brazilian market, infusing them with local aesthetic sensibilities.
  • Campaign & Ad Creative Design: Produce high-conversion ad creatives (short videos, interactive ads, H5 pages) using illustration as a primary or secondary element. Collaborate with content teams to ensure visuals are engaging and trend‑aware.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with cross‑functional teams to align visuals with brand objectives. Manage mid‑scale projects from concept to production.
  • Technical & Cultural Ownership: Maintain visual consistency across digital, social, print, and OOH media. Stay ahead of Brazilian design trends (e.g., street art influences, vibrant color palettes) and integrate them into illustrations. Use design software (Adobe Suite, Procreate) and explore AI‑assisted illustration tools (e.g., for rapid prototyping).
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience as an Art Director, Designer, or similar role in branding/advertising.
  • Portfolio showcasing illustration as a strategic tool (e.g., illustrated campaign assets, character design, data visualization). Proven ability to localize foreign brands for Brazilian audiences. Strong typography, layout, and color theory skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Brazilian culture, aesthetics, and market trends.
  • Proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and project management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in animation or motion graphics (e.g., illustrated explainer videos).
  • Familiarity with interactive design (e.g., micro‑interactions for social media).
  • Understanding of user psychology in visual storytelling.
