Senior Technical Program Manager – Remote
Location : Brazil
The RDE Release Management team is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager who will help support the release trains and be responsible for managing releases for these products. RM Support includes release coordination, scheduling, managing timelines, app submissions, and the publishing of apps. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical operations and workflows that give the organization a competitive edge and improve developer efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee release coordination and scheduling for multiple products across a global scale, ensuring timeliness and quality of releases.
- Manage submission processes and publishing of apps in major app store portals.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to drive release engineering improvements and standardize best practices.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA, and operations to align on release plans, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
- Serve as an executive stakeholder-facing point of contact to manage expectations and drive engineering teams to high standards.
- Improve the Release Engineering pipeline with automated tracking and reporting on release artifacts, JIRA items, sprint scope, bug reports, test reports, and release notes.
- Promote change management, branching strategy, semantic versioning, and release tracking within agile environments.
- Coordinate large-scale product launches through scalable automated release pipelines, leveraging CICD workflows and QA automation.
- Collaborate with frontend (iOS, Android, Web, Roku CTV SDK) and backend teams to coordinate dependencies and release planning.
Qualifications and Experience
- 7 to 10 years of experience supporting a full development life cycle for Android, Apple, Web, or other platform ecosystems.
- Must have app submission experience in one of the major app store portals.
- Experience in operational and release management within an agile framework in media or technology environments is preferred.
- Experience driving changes in branching strategy, semantic versioning, sprint planning, dependency management, test activities, and release tracking.
- Experience working with engineering teams to improve the Release Engineering pipeline with automated tracking and reporting on release artifacts, JIRA items, sprint scope, bug reports, test reports, and release notes.
- Experience in large-scale global product launches through automated release pipelines.
- Experience working with frontend iOS, Android, Web, Roku CTV SDK, and backend engineering and QA teams to coordinate dependencies and release planning.
- Experience in change management processes
- Experience working with global teams comprising product engineering, QA, and operations functional areas.
