What will you do?

Manage large Customer projects or workpackages of very large projects (Category A projects including more software, more services and more sustainability, with organizational and technical complexity, multi‑business, high level of risk, complex contractual context) following applicable company policies and processes (main one being CPP: Customer Project Process).

Lead functionally the project team (>10 people) to ensure full customer satisfaction and financial performance and delegate sub‑projects to PMs. You rely on the PMO expert and document manager to drive the project KPI's: more software, more services and more sustainability.

Focus on stakeholder management and guiding the team. Manage the relationship with the customer and third parties within project scope and be accountable for the execution of the project in line with the contract. Contribute to the project managers community of practice and act as a sales agent for the OPEX service portfolio.

As a Sr. Project Manager for a dedicated VIP client, you manage a portfolio of solution execution VIP projects (Cat.B/A). You drive project managers involved with this customer, act as mentor, and are overall P&L responsible. You ensure consistency of all projects in terms of management, scope, and communication, and provide senior‑level customer interface when needed.

Key responsibilities / activities
  • Set an execution strategy at the start of the project and implement it throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Organise and manage the project team and suppliers. Monitor their progress in line with the project plan (scope, schedule, and budget) until completion. Ensure effective communication within the team for best coordination and motivation.
  • Protect Schneider Electric interests within the frame of the contract until the end of contractual obligations.
  • Monitor, control & report project execution status, progress & KPIs. Ensure full & effective reporting to management (reports, project reviews, risk escalation reviews…). Alert management to project events impacting performance or compliance with governance principles and keep leadership informed of related actions.
  • Perform regular risk and opportunity assessments and implement action plans to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities.
  • Develop customer intimacy (including end‑user if applicable), drive all communication with the customer, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle to prepare the ground for future business. Pursue a strategic approach to capture additional business for our company directly or indirectly linked to digital and services as per company vision.
  • Take full accountability and control over project profitability (sales, margin & cash) including forecasting. Ensure timely revenue recognition as per forecast and implement profitability improvement actions. Satisfy entity and country expectations on sales, margin and cash collection.
  • Ensure project team and suppliers execute the project in full compliance with Schneider‑Electric processes, quality instructions, and governance principles. Take all necessary actions to correct any deviations or quality issues during execution.
  • Delegate sub‑projects to PMs, coordinate and stir the team.
  • Work closely with Service teams to identify, develop and address additional Service CAPEX and OPEX opportunities including cybersecurity services.
  • Contribute to the PM Community of Practice within your Execution Center and globally within the Execution Center network. Identify, formalise, share, and promote lessons learned and best practices.
  • Strongly monitor HSE policies for all team members and sub‑contractors, especially for site activities and travels.
  • Manage cybersecurity risk and actions linked to cybersecurity with all team members (cyberbadge) and suppliers/service providers/sub‑contractors.
  • Act as mentor within the Application Center PM team.
  • Ensure customer and segment team satisfaction, profitability of all projects in the portfolio for the dedicated VIP client, successful project execution, and project control including risk and opportunity management.
  • Collaborate closely with the segment team to identify and contribute to the project pipeline and set‑up.
  • Compile experience from first‑of‑a‑kind solutions and apply best practice to following projects.
  • Provide senior‑level customer interface when needed.
Who will you report to?

Within a Global or Regional Application Center, as part of a Project Management team, you report to the head of execution of the center.
