Overview

We are seeking an Operational Excellence (OE) professional to join our Operational Excellence Center of Excellence (OECOE) within Engineering Services.

OECOE supports implementation of an OE management system across the Aramco organization via developing annual schedules, conducting data analytics to identify issues, providing solutions, and ensuring high-quality reports to customers.

Your primary role is to conduct data analytics to derive insights that support OEM'S proper deployment and sustained excellence performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with OE teams to achieve overall operational excellence in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, policies, regulations, objectives, and targets.
  • Support OE internal assessments, write assessment reports, and develop action plans and recommendations to drive OE performance improvements.
  • Support operational excellence gap analysis based on the Plan, Do, Check and Adjust (PDCA) quality cycle.
  • Develop OE action plans to close OE gaps and follow up on implementation progress.
  • Identify risks hindering OE deployment, develop mitigation measures, and engage in OE performance dialogues.
  • Participate in integrated "Due Diligence" corporate assessments, writing reports and developing recommendations and action plans.
  • Identify and control hazards, and develop and follow up on recommendations as applicable.
  • Prepare and deliver OE performance presentations to management and maintain department OE manuals and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering operational excellence training courses.
  • Support process optimization (Continuous Improvement) and strategy development workshops.
Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Hold a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Have a minimum of 12 years' experience in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry, or project-management experience in quality management and operational excellence.
  • Hold an operational excellence / quality management assessment international certification (e.g., EFQM, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt).
  • Communicate fluently in English, both in writing and orally, and possess strong presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Power BI and Minitab are desirable.
