Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Sales Manager to spearhead sales operations and business growth in the Brazil Region.

This critical role is pivotal in driving market share expansion within the mining sector, focusing on large OTR tire solutions for heavy mining equipment.

The ideal candidate must possess extensive mining industry connections, a hunter mentality for new business acquisition, and proven experience managing key accounts in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and secure new clients in the mining industry across Brazil
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to achieve annual sales targets and market penetration goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at mining corporations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Tier-1 mining clients.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Resolve complex client issues through technical expertise and resource coordination.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market trends to refine pricing, product positioning, and value propositions.
  • Explore growth opportunities in adjacent sectors (quarrying, construction, ports).
  • Manage the networks and field sales teams to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Monitor KPIs (revenue growth, profit margins, market share) and report biweekly to regional leadership.
  • Spend 70% of time traveling to mining sites for technical consultations, audits, and contract negotiations.
  • Lead on-site troubleshooting for tire performance and safety challenges.
Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory Industry Expertise: mining sector B2B sales experience (5+ years).

Established network with mining operations, procurement heads, and fleet managers.

Sales Competency: Demonstrated record of achieving significant YoY growth in complex sales environments.

Personal Attributes: Resilient, self-motivated, and able to thrive in high-pressure settings.

Technical knowledge: of OTR tires or heavy machinery.

Compensation Package
