About the Role

We’re looking for a Java developer with strong backend fundamentals and hands‑on experience building scalable, reactive systems, ideally in payments or fintech environments.

This role focuses on building and maintaining a high-performance, reactive mid-tier service that powers seamless payment experiences for millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain: Design, code, and maintain scalable services within a distributed reactive architecture.
• Debug & Optimize: Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize JVM memory management and application throughput.
• Testing & Compliance: Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and adhere to strict PCI compliance security standards.
• Collaborate: Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and daily stand‑ups in English.

Technical Qualifications

• Core Concepts: Strong grasp of OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Functional Programming: Proficiency with functional concepts (Lambdas, Streams, Optionals) and reactive programming models.
• Concurrency: Experience dealing with race conditions, deadlocks, and thread safety in a multi‑threaded environment.
• API Development: Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
