What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead electrical design and documentation for transportation and infrastructure projects, including lighting, power, and telecommunications systems
• Perform engineering analysis to ensure robust, code‑compliant designs through power/load, lighting, and voltage drop calculations
• Champion compliance with federal, state, and local codes and standards to minimize risks
• Provide technical leadership by setting design direction, reviewing calculations and drawings, and mentoring junior engineers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align designs and streamline project delivery

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer license
• 15+ years of related experience in electrical engineering
• Proficiency with engineering software such as SKM, Visual Lighting, and AGI32 is preferred
• Effective visual and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with design/engineering software tools including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
• Strong understanding of inter-relationships among design disciplines, clients, and constructors
