Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable backend services & APIs (REST / GraphQL)
• Work with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrate services
• Optimize backend systems for stability, performance and security
• Participate in architecture decisions, technology selection and system improvements
• Mentor backend engineers and promote best practices
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to transform requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues quickly to ensure high reliability

Requirements

• 5 years of backend development experience (preferred)
• Strong background in system architecture, scalability and distributed systems
• Proven experience with microservices, cloud platforms and CI / CD pipelines
• Hands‑on expertise in optimizing backend performance and working with databases
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience is a plus
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Comfortable working remotely with distributed international teams (LATAM preferred)
