Job Title : SAP PP Solution Architect

Location : 100% Remote - LATAM (Preferred : Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico)

Contract Duration : 6 Months (Strong Potential for Extensions)

Language Requirement : Advanced / Fluent English

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deliver end-to-end SAP PP solutions as part of global template rollout and localizations
• Lead detailed blueprinting sessions, fit-gap analysis, and translate complex business processes into robust SAP PP designs
• Define solution architecture across Make-to-Order (MTO), Make-to-Stock (MTS), Repetitive Manufacturing, and Capacity Planning scenarios
• Develop and govern integration frameworks with adjacent modules (MM, SD, QM, WM) and external systems (MES, PLM, SCADA)
• Drive configuration and data model setup including Work Centers, Routings, BOMs, MRP, Demand Management, and Shop Floor Control
• Support system landscape design, cutover planning, and data migration strategies specific to PP
• Act as the principal SME for PP during all project phases - from explore through realization to hypercare
• Collaborate with Basis, ABAP, and middleware teams to design custom enhancements and ensure optimal performance and scalability

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Functional Lead in SAP PP
• Proven expertise in architecting SAP PP solutions in S / 4HANA (greenfield or brownfield), including Fiori enablement
• Strong hands‑on configuration experience across all core PP elements
• Work Center / Routing / BOM
• MRP, Demand Management, Long‑Term Planning
• Production Orders, Repetitive Manufacturing, Backflushing
• Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Execution
• Experience integrating SAP PP with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and custom third‑party interfaces
• Deep knowledge of integration touchpoints with MM, SD, QM, EWM, and APO / IBP
• Exposure to PPDS, Variant Configuration, and digital manufacturing scenarios is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of technical concepts: IDocs, BAPIs, enhancements, user exits, and debugging
• Experience in delivering global SAP rollouts with localization and template governance
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Based in LATAM and available to work within US or LATAM time zones
• Comfortable in agile and hybrid delivery models; experience with JIRA, SolMan, and other project tools

Nice to Have

• SAP S / 4HANA Certification (PP or Manufacturing Suite)
• Experience in chemical, pharma, or automotive manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Solution Manager for ALM
