Could you be the full-time Safety Assurance Engineer in São Paulo we’re looking for?
This opportunity is not related to EHS (Environmental Safety and Health) metier.
Take on a new challenge and apply your safety analysis expertise in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
You’ll ensure an acceptable level of risk in Alstom’s signalling projects by performing safety analyses at system, subsystem, wayside equipment, onboard equipment, hardware, and software levels. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project teams, quality managers, independent safety assessors), manage and support Safety Assurance Engineers, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of the preparation of Safety Demonstrations, such as Safety Cases or Safety Reports, but also ensure compliance with safety requirements and standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience or understanding of signalling systems (desirable)
Knowledge of railway safety standards, such as CENELEC 50126, 50128, and 50129 (desirable)
Familiarity with safety analysis techniques (e.g., Hazard Log, Safety Related Items List)
An advanced level of English; Spanish proficiency is an advantage
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Autonomy, resilience, and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Team leadership and coordination skills
