A leading automotive company in Vitória, Espírito Santo is seeking a Trainee in Operations Supply Projects. This position involves collaborating on strategic operational projects that support supply chain logistics and enhance production efficiency. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in industrial or automotive engineering, and preferably a master's degree. The 14-month program includes mentorship, training camps, and opportunities for international experience. Strong English and intermediate Spanish skills are required, along with knowledge in digital technologies.

Qualificações

• Maximum of 3 years of professional experience in Production, Supply or Logistic planning.
• Experience abroad for at least 3 months in study, internship, or work.
• Experience in digitalisation, AI application, or change management is valuable.

Responsabilidades

• Support planning, coordination, documentation and execution of strategic projects.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Identify risks, optimise processes and improve operational performance.

Responsibilities

As a Trainee in Operations Supply Projects, you will operate at the interface of Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing and Cross-Functional Project Management within Mercedes-Benz Vans.

Your role supports the planning, coordination, documentation and execution of strategic operational projects that ensure stable component supply, efficient logistics flows and readiness for new vehicle launches.

You work with data from suppliers, production plants and logistics networks to identify risks, optimise processes and enable informed project decisions.

By collaborating closely with Procurement, Engineering, Quality and global plant teams, you contribute to improving operational performance, reducing complexity and strengthening the resilience of our entire van production network and optimising processes and projects through AI and digitalisation.

At Mercedes-Benz Spain, we will provide a local employment contract in accordance with the regulations applicable in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Qualifications

• University bachelor's degree in industrial / automotive engineering.
• A master's degree, MBA or Doctorate is mandatory for this position.

Experience

• Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies) in Production, Supply or Logistic planning.
• Valuable experience in projects focused on process optimisation, change management, digitalisation, AI application or strategic product projects.
• At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel).

Specific Knowledge / Soft Skills

• Excellent English skills (C1) and intermediate Spanish skills (B2).
• Proficiency in German (B1) is an advantage.
• Knowledge in Power Automate, Power BI, Python, APIs development, Data Lake and MO360 are preferred.
• Strong affinity for digital technologies and enthusiasm for future trends.
