Project Manager (Remote | Contract)

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to own delivery execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives in an agile engineering environment. This role sits at the center of business, product, and engineering — translating priorities into action, driving clarity, and ensuring work is delivered with quality and consistency.

This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and keeping teams aligned and moving.

What You’ll Do
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex initiatives, from planning through execution and completion
  • Build and manage delivery plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking (Jira)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and driving alignment across teams
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and adjust plans as priorities evolve
  • Facilitate working sessions, stand‑ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops as needed
  • Support prioritization decisions by providing delivery insights, trade‑offs, and impact analysis
  • Continuously improve delivery processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and predictability
  • Track and report on delivery progress using appropriate metrics and tools
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives
  • Strong experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
  • Hands‑on experience using Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking
  • Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client‑facing role
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity
  • Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade‑offs
  • Basic SQL skills and familiarity with finance or accounting concepts are a plus, but not required
