Overview of the role: We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain highly reliable, scalable, and secure OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters. We will need you to approach the problem of building and maintaining production systems from a software engineering perspective with a focus on automation, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Build and automate and maintain OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
- Create and enhance tools to make operational workflows more automated.
- Configure and maintain additional required supporting infrastructure applications.
- Monitor, respond to, and resolve cluster and infrastructure service issues.
- Handle infrastructure and services on premises and in AWS.
- Diagnose and resolve problems in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement metrics to measure service performance and health.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- Deep experience with Linux Administration.
- Automation experience with Python, Bash, Salt, or equivalent.
- Knowledge installing, managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
- Advanced English level.

Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Solutions Specialist (Latin American Market)

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Solutions Specialist with a strong technical background in cloud and DevOps practices, focused on the LATAM market. This role bridges technical expertise with client engagement—guiding customers to understand how Matilda Cloud’s offerings solve their challenges.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, highly skilled in customer engagement, and comfortable translating complex technology into clear business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate fluently in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, serving as the primary technical point of contact for LATAM clients.
- Work alongside the sales team to gather customer requirements and devise effective technical strategies that address the specific needs of the LATAM market.
- Partner with client IT and business teams to troubleshoot issues, remove roadblocks, and accelerate solution deployment.
- Engage with partners to provide comprehensive training and enablement on Matilda Cloud solutions.
- Collect customer feedback and relay insights to product and engineering teams to continuously improve offerings.
- Support developers in containerizing applications and migrating them to Kubernetes.
- Automate recurring tasks in container‑based workflows into reusable CI/CD assets.
- Design, build, manage and operate the infrastructure and configuration of container platforms with a focus on automation and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Ensure reliable WFH readiness with stable high‑bandwidth internet.
- Travel across LATAM as needed for meetings and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps, or technical sales engineering in LATAM.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms.
- Hands‑on with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud).
- Expertise in Kubernetes, container platforms, and hybrid cloud operations.
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Helm, CI/CD pipelines).
- Exceptional communication and client‑facing experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑changing environment.
- Availability for regional travel.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for our software projects, ensuring automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
