About the role

At Better Collective, we are on a mission to become the world's leading digital sports media group, and we are intensifying our investments in South America to achieve this goal.

To support our growth and strategic focus, we are seeking a highly analytical and commercial strong Planning & Analysis Business Partner with excellent interpersonal skills.In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Financial Planning process, performance monitoring, deriving business insights & ensuring these are turned into actions.

While your role is anchored within Group Finance & BI, you will be based in our Buenos Aires office to collaborate closely with local and regional teams.

Your main responsibilities

• Business partnering : Collaborate closely with the regional CEO and leadership team, and act as a primary liaison between the Finance & BI organisation and regional organisation ensuring smooth communication and alignment of strategic objectives
• Financial Planning : Spearhead financial planning and analysis for both revenue and cost, including budget tracking, forecasting support, variance analysis and monthly reporting
• Business Insights : Produce business insights according to underlying drivers and recommendations for actions to support prioritisation and identify optimization opportunities
• Stakeholder Engagement : Proactively follow up with internal and external stakeholders to diagnose performance issue and drive actionable solutions
• Performance management : Design, lead & implement the development of performance monitoring processes & reports, and drive monthly KPI highlights and follow-ups
• Forecasting : Assist business owners in the development of accurate and achievable targets through data-driven forecasting, and conduct analysis on M&A business cases and follow-up post acquisitions

Our expectations :

• Proven track record as a Finance Business Partner, or analyst in an outward-facing role, with an analytical educational background and more than a few years of experience
• Extensive knowledge of planning and analysis, with an emphasis on driving planning processes within a matrix organisation and scenario modelling
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex financial-, data
• and operational KPIs in a clear and concise manner
• Mature analytical skills with a history of deriving business insights and turning these into action plans and develop crisp communication materials for senior stakeholders and reporting
• You have strong business acumen and can understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the company, and the ability to think strategically in order to align financial strategies with business objectives
• You excel in collaborative environments, working effectively with a diverse group of internal and external partners
