General Job Description

• Under general supervision, performs the following activities:
  • Loading and unloading vehicles, observing instructions for removal and packaging of volumes.
  • Organize goods in the warehouse according to the distribution routes, observing packing instructions.
  • Execute the pick‑up of packages from customers’ addresses, observing loading and stowage rules and packing list specifications.
  • Execute the loading of the collected packages and ask the customer to stamp and sign the pickup documents.
  • Execute the delivery of packages, organize the volumes in the customer’s warehouses and ask the customer to fill in the required fields in the delivery documents.
  • Inform the Cargo Clerk (Handler II) regarding all losses and damages.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse and handling equipment in an adequate state of use.
  • Maintain the warehouse within established organization and conservation standards.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
