We are looking for an Executive Director as Payments Business Development (PBD) manager to join our Latin America Payments & eCommerce Sales.

This person will play a critical role in advancing new Payments opportunities across Treasury Services, Merchant Services, Commercial Card and Trade & Working Capital for the following major grouped industries :

(i) Diversified Industries,

(ii) Energy-Power-Renewables-Minerals.

This person will lead proactive client engagement, collaborate with multiple internal partners, and develop critical solutions to meet strategic and complex needs of our inbound multinational corporate clients regionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and win new Payments opportunities where we have no or low wallet share
  • Develop new and strengthen existing client relationships beyond the Treasury organization of inbound multinational corporate clients
  • Analyze client's current operational / strategic structure, identify pain points, map process flows, deliver best practices on key industry trends, and drive incremental revenue through a solution-based approach.
  • Partner and coordinate with Payments Sales Managers, Corporate Bankers, Product Solutions Specialists (PSS), and Payments Advisory teams to develop value added solutions.
  • Lead the deal from pitch to close / implementation of Payments solutions.
  • Partner with the Proposals and PSS teams to draft and deliver compelling response to RFPs demonstrating the value of JPM Payments.
  • Work with the Pricing team to develop an optimal pricing model with a focus on top line and margin growth.
  • Communicate and share industry leading solutions with wider Payment Sales and Payment Business Development teams.
  • Manage pipeline and forecasts effectively, highlighting key deals and also any risks to achieving annual targets.
  • Share client feedback with Product teams and help drive new product development.
  • Speak at industry conferences as an ambassador of the firm on thought leadership topics.
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience, 7+ years in a sales role focused on providing payments services preferably to corporate clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deepen senior client relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of payments ecosystem covering transaction banking, merchant acquiring and working capital.
  • Ability to identify new prospects, build pipeline and execute new sales.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to optimize working capital levels across the organization.
  • Must have strong leadership, presentation and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • International experience preferred but not required.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
