About the project
As a Senior Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Working closely with an Implementation Partner, you will ensure seamless execution and optimization of data platforms for an End client.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage data engineering solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric.
- Collaborate with TCS teams to ensure project objectives align with organizational needs.
- Build, test, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL & ELT processes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
- Optimize database performance and resolve technical issues.
- Document processes and provide technical training to team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and data engineering.
- 5+ years of experience managing data warehouse environments with star schema or data lake architectures.
- 3+ years of experience with Python for data manipulation, scripting, and integration.
- 3+ years of experience with Power BI.
- 3+ years of experience with ETL processes using SSIS.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- 2+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse Analytics.
- 1+ year of experience with Power BI Report Builder or SSRS.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for code deployment.
- Advanced English proficiency is required to work with US clients and deliver solutions effectively.
