Descrição da oferta de emprego

Greenlane Renewables Inc., headquartered in metro Vancouver, Canada, is driving change: accelerating the energy transition. We are cleaning up two of the largest and most difficult-to-decarbonize sectors of the global energy system: the natural gas grid and commercial transportation. As a pioneer and leading global specialist in biogas desulfurization and upgrading, we have been actively contributing to the decarbonization of our planet for over 35 years with more than 355 systems supplied into 28 countries. We transform biogas generated from organic waste into high-value grid-ready renewable natural gas (“RNG”) from a wide range of sources such as landfills, sugar mills, dairy farms, wastewater, and food waste. Greenlane is transforming energy production and creating new, sustainable revenue streams for its customers - all while dramatically reducing carbon emissions. Join us, let’s accelerate the energy transition together.

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for defining, optimizing, and sustaining safe, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing and testing processes for large Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) equipment. This role ensures manufacturing operations consistently meet Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD) objectives through structured process design, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize assembly processes for large RNG equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety requirements.
  • Develop and maintain assembly procedures, work instructions, SOPs, and control plans.
  • Lead the transition from engineering to production, ensuring tooling, documentation, training, and test readiness.
  • Develop and execute testing protocols to validate equipment performance, safety, and compliance.
  • Analyze, document, and report test results in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance testing accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering principles (time studies, capacity modeling, line balancing, takt analysis).
  • Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, 5S, standardized work, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (A3, 5 Whys, Fishbone) and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of manufacturing and testing activities.
  • Support incoming inspection, non-conformance management, and corrective action processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain, maintenance).
  • Train and mentor manufacturing personnel on processes, safety, and best practices.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–8+ years in manufacturing or industrial engineering; 2–4+ years in Lean/process improvement roles.
  • Strong understanding of integrated process systems (e.g., gas processing, upgrading systems, controls).
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab)
  • Preferred with knowledge in standards as ASTM A516 Gr.70, ABNT NBR 6656 USI SAC 50, ABNT NR-12, NR-13, ASME VIII Div.1, ISO 2768-mK, MTC EN 10204 Type 3.1, ANSI class, AWS A2.4, ASTM A36, ABNT NBR 7007 MR250, and SSPC-SP6/SP10.
  • Experience working directly with customers and plant operators in on-site environments.
  • Ability to work across functions and influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise updates to senior leadership.
  • English proficiency required.
