SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Legal Counsel to join our esteemed legal team.

This position is perfect for legal professionals with a deep understanding of the iGaming industry and a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services.

Your expertise and strategic thinking will be critical in supporting our company's legal needs and guiding junior members of the team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contract Management: Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex agreements, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in all contractual matters.
• Legal Strategy and Analysis: Provide strategic legal advice and prepare comprehensive legal memoranda on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues that impact the company.
• Document Management: Ensure the accurate and secure maintenance of the company's legal documentation and records.
• Advanced Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to support the company's legal strategy and decision-making processes.
• Regulatory Filings and Liaison: Prepare and submit regulatory filings, and act as a liaison with competent authorities as required.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior legal team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing legal guidance to support business objectives.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• A recognised Law degree is required
• Extensive knowledge of legal principles and practices, with the ability to provide strategic legal advice in a business context
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce well organised documents and presentations
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Portuguese, with an emphasis on clear, concise legal writing
