Job Summary:

As a Junior CMMS Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal maintenance and inventory processes within our Offshore Production business unit.

This position requires not only strong analytical and communication skills but also a hands-on approach to supporting end users and maintaining system data integrity.

You will be a key contributor to our continuous improvement initiatives, working collaboratively with various teams to enhance our operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) activities across all operating assets in Brazil, fostering a seamless operational environment.
  • Deliver hands-on training to end-users on IFS CMMS and related maintenance and inventory processes, ensuring their competence and confidence in utilising the system.
  • Monitor CMMS system usage, advocate best practices, and implement efficiencies to protect the integrity and functionality of the system.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of Maintenance & Inventory KPIs across Brazil’s operational units, providing insight that drives performance.
  • Support the Functional Manager and Operational Managers in analysing maintenance and inventory performance, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the CMMS, collaborating effectively with team members to uphold high standards.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Support Issue team, executing tasks and responsibilities related to maintenance and inventory support.
  • Advocate for the use of CMMS, underscoring the importance of defined processes, tools, and standards within the team and broader organisation.

Duties:

  • Participate actively in meetings as required, engaging with the ALM Maintenance and Inventory team to foster collaboration and communication.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analyses of maintenance-related KPIs for Brazilian units, identifying areas for improvement and driving operational excellence.
  • Perform both offshore and onshore site visits as necessary to aid in system usage and facilitate training opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated processes that encompass maintenance and inventory management.
  • Provide necessary budget input to asset Operation Managers as required, ensuring financial prudence within the Brazil units.
  • Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as required, contributing to the broader goals of the department.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Mechanical, Marine, or Offshore Engineering, or equivalent education and relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in the offshore maintenance industry, specifically with comparable ERP systems, with preference given to those who have worked with IFS.
  • Experience in strategy optimisation is advantageous, enabling you to influence process improvements effectively.
  • Proven experience in working in a global environment, collaborating successfully with diverse teams.
